Welcome to RogerTango.com. As many may or may not know, Roger Tango is the RTO's (Radio Telephone Operator) lingo for "RT", or "Received Transmission". Hence, if I were working a radio in the Army and I heard all of what you said, Id reply with my radio call followed by "Roger Tango".
I am retired for the US Army Virginia Army National Guard HHC 1/116inf Support Platoon 29th Light Infantry Division. My first six years I was in Alpha Company 3rd Platoon Weapons Squad as an M-60 Machine Gunner. As crosstraining is big in the Army, I also did various jobs related to combat and combat support, including radio operations. I am now invloved in Amature Radio, hence I go back to the old Army saying for my website, Roger Tango!
