My new vanity callsign was issued today, W4INF. The process was easy and it took the projected 20 days for it to go through. My previous callsign KI4QFY is still active on QRZ and Hamcall. The new callsign is not yet active, but I anticipate in the next few days it will get picked up on an update. For anyone that is interested, I retired from the Virginia Army National Guard, I was an Infantry soldier in the 1/116th. The acronym 'INF' stands for Infantry. My funny phonetic should be "I Need Funds"! HA HA! All other callsigns that I was interested in including my daughter's initials were already assigned.
